These Rules & Regulations set out the obligations that all visitors (as defined below) must observe while using the facilities of Prague City Golf Zbraslav (the “Resort”) in order to ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of all guests.
The golf course is operated by Prague City Golf s.r.o., Company ID No. 01484397, with its registered office at Oddechová 886, Lipence, 155 00 Prague 5, Czech Republic (the “Operator”).
General Rules
- The Resort includes the golf course and all practice facilities, parking areas, and all indoor and outdoor areas of the clubhouse and restaurant.
- A visitor is any golfer, accompanying guest, spectator, restaurant guest or person passing through the Resort. Each visitor is fully responsible for any damage or injury caused to other persons, the Operator’s property or the property of third parties as a result of their actions.
- For the purposes of these Rules & Regulations, authorised personnel include representatives of the Operator, managers, technical managers, reception staff, marshals, referees, security personnel, parking attendants, accredited coaches and instructors, and any other persons authorised by the Operator.
- Visitors are required to familiarise themselves with these Rules & Regulations before entering the Resort and must comply with them at all times.
- All visitors are required to maintain good order and follow the instructions of Resort staff and authorised personnel.
- The Resort is open to visitors during operating hours. Opening hours may be adjusted by the Operator depending on the season, weather conditions and course conditions. Current information is available at reception and on the Prague City Golf website.
- Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times throughout the Resort.
- The use of practice balls on the championship course or academy course is strictly prohibited.
- Visitors may not enter the Resort wearing inappropriate clothing (such as undershirts, boxer shorts or similar attire) or inappropriate footwear (including metal spikes, heavily treaded soles, high heels or similar footwear).
- Children must not be left unattended anywhere within the Resort.
- Visitors are required to report any accidents, injuries, loss of property, property damage or other unusual incidents to reception without delay. Any damage to the golf course or other Resort property must also be reported immediately.
- Coaching and instruction may only be provided by coaches who have a valid agreement with the Operator. All coaches must register their planned coaching activities at reception and, upon request, provide proof of a valid agreement with the club. Coaches without a valid agreement may be denied access to the practice facilities or removed from the Resort.
Rules of Conduct on the Golf Course
- All golfers must check in at reception and pay the applicable green fee before entering the course. Access to the course is permitted only to players with a valid booking or paid green fee. Players may be asked to present proof of payment at any time during their round. Club members must present a valid membership card upon request.
- The course is open to golfers with a handicap of 54 or lower. Players who have successfully passed their golf competency test but have not yet obtained an official handicap may play when accompanied by a PGA Professional or an approved mentor, who is responsible for their pace of play and conduct on the course.
- A maximum of four players is permitted in any playing group (flight).
- Players are expected to arrive at the 1st tee at least 10 minutes before their scheduled tee time. Players who fail to arrive within five minutes of their booked tee time may forfeit their reservation. Subject to availability, the course marshal may assign an alternative starting hole that corresponds to the original tee time. Any missed holes may be played later, subject to approval by reception or the course marshal.
- Players must follow the designated order of play, maintain an appropriate pace of play and comply with the time guidelines for each hole. Pace-of-play information is available on the scorecard and on the club website.
- Players must maintain a reasonable pace of play and follow the instructions of the course marshal at all times. To ensure smooth flow on the course, the marshal may require players to speed up play, move ahead to another hole or skip a hole if necessary.
- Safety on the course is the responsibility of every player. A shot must never be played if there is any risk of striking another person. If a ball is heading towards an area where it may endanger someone, players must immediately shout “FORE!”, even if the ball is not their own.
- Particular care must be taken near public footpaths and cycle routes. Players must not play a shot if pedestrians or cyclists are within range or in the intended line of play.
- Players are expected to care for the course at all times. This includes avoiding practice swings that damage teeing areas, replacing divots, repairing pitch marks and raking bunkers after use.
- When visibility is limited or the landing area cannot be clearly seen, players must ensure it is safe to play before striking the ball.
- Appropriate golf attire is required on the course. Shirts with collars or mock-neck golf shirts must be worn. Blue jeans, tracksuits, sleeveless men’s shirts, sports shorts and spaghetti-strap tops are not permitted. Only golf shoes or footwear with smooth soles may be worn on grassed areas.
- In the event of lightning or severe weather, play may be suspended by an audible warning signal. Players must leave the course immediately and follow the instructions of club staff. If play is suspended for more than 60 minutes, golfers who have completed fewer than 14 holes may contact reception to arrange a replacement round. Any replacement voucher is valid for seven days from the date of issue.
- Players must comply with the Local Rules, the Rules of Golf and all course signage. Damage to course furniture, distance markers, ball washers, tee markers, information boards or any other club property is strictly prohibited.
- Visitors who are not playing golf or accompanying a golfer may only enter the course with permission from reception. Anyone entering the course without authorisation does so entirely at their own risk, and the Operator accepts no liability for any resulting loss, damage or injury.
